Professor Surendra Giri completed his PhD from the \Centre of Social Medicine and Community Health, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He was at the Health and Physical Education Department, faculty of Education TU Kathmandu during 1994-1995 for his Master Degree in Health Education. Currently, he is an Executive Director of CERID TU, Kathmandu. He worked for a long period more than two decades at TU , the Faculty of Education at Butwal Multiple Campus as a campus chief, assistant campus chief and department chief of Health Education in Rupandehi district.
